MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A collision Monday afternoon closed a left lane on Interstate 43 near Milwaukee’s Williamsburg Heights neighborhood, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident occurred on the northbound lanes at Exit 76A to Wisconsin Highway 190, or West Capitol Drive. It was first reported by 511 at 2:45 p.m.
Authorities have not provided details on the circumstances behind the wreck, but the closure remained in place for more than 20 minutes.

By 3:11 p.m., the roadway was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
