MILWAUKEE, WI — A crash Thursday morning blocked two left lanes on Interstate 43 near the Town of Lake neighborhood in Milwaukee’s south side, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes at South 6th Street and was first reported by 511 at 9:09 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed details on the circumstances behind the event, but the two lanes remained closed for nearly 40 minutes.

By 9:48 a.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
