MILWAUKEE, WI — A pickup truck hauling a small plane was involved in a wreck Thursday evening, blocking multiple lanes on Interstate 41 near downtown Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The accident occurred on the northbound interstate (U.S. Highway 45) at West Wisconsin Avenue, near the Westown neighborhood. It was first reported by TMJ4 at 5:24 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but footage captured at the scene shows a the pickup’s front bumper damaged after an apparent crash with an SUV. A small plane with its wings detached can be seen on a flatbed trailer attached to the back of the pickup. No damage to the aircraft was visible.
Officials have not released other details at this time, but no one has been reported injured.
By 6:30 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
