MILWAUKEE, WI — A 32-year-old man was left in critical condition late Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in Milwaukee’s Lower East Side, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
The incident occurred in the area of North Franklin Place and East Brady Street at around 11:53 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but Milwaukee Police said the male pedestrian was on the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The victim suffered grave injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
At this time, officials have not provided any information on the striking vehicle or the suspect, who remains unknown.
An investigation is in progress.
