SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI — A 40-year-old man died late Thursday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle near a Sheboygan intersection, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
Sheboygan Fire Department medics and Sheboygan Police responded to the scene on South 14th Street near Indiana Avenue at around 5:00 p.m.
An early investigation indicates the man was operating a motorcycle northbound on South 14th Street when he approached vehicles that were slowing and stopping for the traffic light. Investigators believe the motorcyclist was unable to slow or stop in time before striking the back of one vehicle.
First responders and a citizen at the scene applied life-saving measures to the rider before he was rushed to St. Nicholas Hospital. Officials said he was later pronounced deceased.
