MILWAUKEE, WI — A 94-year-old woman died Thursday afternoon after a pedestrian crash in Milwaukee’s Lower East Side neighborhood, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The fatal incident took place at the corner of East Brady Street and North Prospect Avenue at about 3:45 p.m.
Milwaukee Police said a 40-year-old man was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling on Brady Street when he began making a turn onto Prospect Avenue and hit the female pedestrian.
The victim suffered critical injuries and later died at around 7:45 p.m., confirmed officials.
The driver remained at the site of the crash and cooperated with responding officers.
At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported. An investigation remains in progress.
