KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 26-year-old woman died Wednesday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident on County Highway K in the Town of Paris, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
Deputies with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene just west of 152nd Avenue (County Highway MB), shortly after 12:30 p.m.
An early investigation shows the victim was driving a car westbound on County Highway K when she drifted left of the center, and then traveled off the roadway. A witness told authorities the vehicle then ran into the north ditch line and struck a culvert. The car overturned as a result of the impact, causing the driver to eject.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. Officials said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
No further information has been provided at this time. An investigation remains underway.
