MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A driver struck a West Milwaukee apartment building early Friday while fleeing Milwaukee Police Department officers, according to CBS58.
West Milwaukee Police said the collision occurred in the area of West Burnham Street and Miller Park Way, at about 12:51 a.m.
Few details have been released, but a car was being pursued when it collided with the building. Moments later, its driver fled the scene.
It was unclear whether the suspect fled on foot or was able to drive the wrecked vehicle away.
No injuries have been reported at this time, but officials have not said how the building’s structure was impacted.
An investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department was in progress.
