WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crash Thursday afternoon shut down all southbound lanes of Wisconsin Highway 26 near southwest Oshkosh, reports We Are Green Bay.
The collision occurred near Interstate 41 and was first reported by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at about 3:30 p.m.
No details have been released regarding the cause of the wreck, but the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
In addition to the closure of the southbound highway, the northbound left lane was also closed in the aftermath.
By 4:44 p.m., more than an hour later, the accident had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
Officials have not reported any injuries at this time.
