MILWAUKEE, WI — A 29-year-old woman died early Thursday after being struck by a car in northwest Milwaukee’s Silver Spring neighborhood, according to TMJ4.
The fatal incident took place in the area of North 63rd Street and West Thurston Avenue, at about 3:34 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but Milwaukee Police said the female pedestrian was crossing the street when she was hit by the vehicle.
Medics rushed the victim to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.
At this time, authorities have not reported any pending charges or citations.
An investigation remains underway.
