RACINE COUNTY, WI — One person died Thursday morning after their motorcycle collided with a box truck on Wisconsin Highway 11 near southeast Mount Pleasant, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
Mount Pleasant Police said the wreck occurred at the intersection with Wisconsin Highway 31 at around 6:30 a.m.
it was unclear what led up to the crash, but an off-duty fireman administered aid to the rider before medics responded to the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
No details truck driver have been disclosed at this time. As of this writing, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
A section of westbound WIS-11 was shut down during the response and investigation.
