OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — Nine people were injured Wednesday afternoon when a transit van collided with a parked truck off County Road S in New London, reports TMJ4.
The accident occurred near the intersection with Wisconsin Highway 54 and was first reported by TMJ4 at 3:37 p.m.
According to the New London Police Department, a long transit van carrying nine people was heading northbound on CTH-S when it veered past the center line and traveled into a ditch. It then struck a parked truck in a nearby parking lot.
All nine occupants suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken by ambulance to local hospitals.
An investigation remains in progress, but at this time, officials do not believe alcohol contributed to the crash.
