MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A driver was taken into custody Monday morning after crashing a semi-trailer truck on Interstate 43 near Greenfield, according to TMJ4.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at South 92nd Street, near the Hale Interchange. It was first reported by TMJ4 at 8:05 a.m.
Authorities said the driver lost control of a trailer truck used to transport horses, resulting in the wreck.
No injuries to the driver were reported, and no horses were on board at the time.
Responding officers arrested the driver for a suspended driver’s license and not having a permit for concealed carry.
The incident caused a traffic standstill for an unspecified amount of time as crews worked to removed the wreckage.
