MILWAUKEE, WI — A collision late Tuesday afternoon blocked all northbound lanes of Interstate 41 near Children’s Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital in west Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the northbound interstate (U.S. Highway 45) between Wisconsin Avenue and Watertown Plank Road. It was first reported by TTWN at 4:15 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed details regarding the circumstances behind the event, but traffic was backed up to the Zoo Interchange.

About 10 minutes later, only a right lane was reported closed, indicating multiple lanes had reopened.

By 4:35 p.m., the scene had been cleared to the right shoulder, though delays remained in the area.
