KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Three people were injured early Sunday evening in an ATV accident at the Great Lakes Dragaway near southeast Union Grove, reports TMJ4.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene at 18411 1st Street, shortly after 5:00 p.m.
According to authorities, the victims were taking an all-terrain vehicle on a joy ride across a field at the racing track when they lost control, resulting in a crash.
One occupant suffered a head injury while two others sustained both head and back injuries. Their conditions remain undisclosed, but officials said all patients were conscious and communicating with first responders.
An investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) was in progress.
