DODGE COUNTY, WI — A 67-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident off County Road WS in the township of Hubbard, reports TMJ4.
The fatal crash occurred near the intersection with County Road S at about 2:00 p.m.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving a 1999 Kenworth dump truck westbound on County Road S. As he reached County Road WS, he drove past the stop sign and veered across both lanes of County Road WS. The truck then traveled over the railroad tracks before it flipped.
The victim died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed the Dodge County Medical Examiner. He was the only occupant in the truck.
Multiple emergency agencies assisted at the site of the crash.
No further information has been released at this time, but an investigation remains ongoing.
