WAUPACA COUNTY, WI — One person died Saturday evening after a single-vehicle accident that hurt three others on Wisconsin Highway 49 near Fremont, according to WSAU.
The fatal crash happened on a span of the highway near County Road I at around 8:00 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but authorities said the driver lost control at a curve in the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn.
One occupant was ejected from the vehicle and died from their injuries at the scene.
Three other patients suffered undisclosed injuries and were transported to a local hospital. No updates on their condition have been released as of this writing.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
