MILWAUKEE, WI — One person was hospitalized Tuesday night after a wreck involving an ambulance and a police vehicle in northwest Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The collision occurred near North 30th Street and West Burleigh Street, in the Franklin Heights neighborhood, shortly after 8:00 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but photos taken at the scene show airbags deployed in both a Bell Ambulance and a Milwaukee Police Department squad car. Both vehicles also appear to have sustained significant damage.
Milwaukee Fire Department said crews responded to the scene and transported one victim to a hospital. No details on the patient’s condition have been released at this time.
No other injuries have been reported.
