OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — A 33-year-old Berlin woman has died after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday, May 3, on Interstate 41 near Appleton, according to We Are Green Bay.
The fatal wreck occurred on the northbound lanes near Wisconsin Highway 441, or U.S Highway 10, at about 3:45 p.m.
Details remain limited, but early reports indicate three vehicles were involved, including a semi-truck that had appeared to have traveled off the roadway.
Appleton Police said the victim’s vehicle was struck from behind, causing it to overturned in a ditch.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she died more than two weeks later.
At this time, an investigation by the Appleton Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol remain ongoing.
