RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 55-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle near southeast Mount Pleasant, according to CBS58.
The incident took place near South Newman Road and South Green Bay Road at about 8:00 p.m.
Details are limited, but Mount Pleasant police said the pedestrian was hit by a driver who fled the scene without stopping.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Froedtert Medical Hospital, where they were last listed in critical but stable condition.
As of Sunday afternoon, authorities said the suspect, a 23-year-old Kenosha resident, has been located and arrested.
