MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A semi tractor-trailer jackknifed early Wednesday evening, blocking nearly all northbound lanes of Interstate 43 in west Greenfield, according to TMJ4.
The accident occurred on the northbound lanes at 116th Street, near Whitnall High School, at about 5:00 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the event, but the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said all traffic was being diverted through a distress lane as the northbound interstate shut down.
By 6:00 p.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries.
