COLUMBIA COUNTY, WI — A vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon closed all eastbound and westbound lanes on Wisconsin Highway 16 near northwest Columbus, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident impacted a span of the highway near Johnson Road. It was first reported by 511 at 3:07 p.m.
Only the eastbound lanes were initially blocked, but by 3:24 p.m., the closure was upgraded to include all westbound lanes.

By 4:11 p.m., more than an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway with all lanes reopened to traffic.
