BROWN COUNTY, WI — A 74-year-old New Holstein man died Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 43 in the Village of Legeview, according to NBC26.
The fatal crash accident happened on the southbound lanes near Glenmore Road shortly before 6:24 a.m.
Authorities with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said the man had stopped or stalled his car when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by a 28-year-old Green Bay man.
The New Holstein man suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
The driver of the pickup was not reported hurt.
No further information has been released at this time, but an investigation was underway.
