MILWAUKEE, WI — Two firefighters were hospitalized Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle while clearing snow in front of a northwest Milwaukee fire department station, reports TMJ4.
The incident occurred at MFD Station 4 located on 9511 West Appleton Avenue at around 7:00 a.m.
Authorities said a driver veered off the roadway before striking two firefighters and the fire station.
The victims were transported to Froedtert Hospital with undisclosed injuries but have since been released and are expected to fully recover.
As of this writing, no information regarding the driver has been shared.
