MILWAUKEE, WI – Five people were hospitalized following a police pursuit and crash in southwest Milwaukee on Wednesday.
According to a report by CBS 58, the hase ensured at about 8:22 p.m. when officers noticed a driver traveling at a high rate of speed near 16th and Manitoba Street. The officer terminated the pursuit moments later after losing sight of the suspect.
Moments later, the suspect drove through the stop sign at 13th and Manitoba and slammed into another vehicle. The suspect vehilce then crashed into a third vehicle that was heading the opposite direction.
All five individuals in the victim vehicles, including a 17-month-old child, were hospitalized with various injuries.
The suspect, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was arrested and booked into jail.
