MILWAUKEE, WI – One teenager was killed and another was hospitalized after a stolen vehicle crash in southwest Milwaukee last Friday night.
According to a report by WISN, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of 36th Street and West Lincoln Avenue.
Investigators say the driver lost control at a high rate of speed and slammed into a roadside tree, causing two occupants to be thrown from the car.
A 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His 13-year-old brother was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Two other occupants fled the scene on foot. They have not been identified at this time.
