TOWN OF NEWARK, WI – A 17-year-old was killed after his vehicle crashed off of SH-213 near Newark on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report by WMTV the crash occurred at about 12:20 p.m. when the driver veered off the freeway between South Kettle Road and South Smyth School Road.
The vehicle crashed into a ravine before veering back up the hill and slamming into a roadside tree.
The teen, whose identity is being withheld, was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
