RICHFIELD, WI – A woman from West Bend was seriously injured after an SUV crashed into the motorcycle she was riding on in Richfield this morning.
According to a report by Fox 6 Milwaukee, the crash occurred along Hubertus Road, near SH-175 at about 7:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the 65-year-old man behind the wheel of the SUV failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist, causing the two to collide head-on.
The woman, who was operating the motorcycle, was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The driver in the SUV was unhurt.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection to the crash at this time.
