GRAND CHUTE, WI – A semi-truck driver was resuscitated by first responders after a multi-vehicle crash on I-41 yesterday.

According to WFRV, the semi collided with an SUV in the northbound lanes of the interstate, just outside of Grand Chute.

Investigators believe the truck driver scuffed a medical emergency, causing him to lose control and hit the SUV.

A Grand Chute Police Officer and an off-duty sheriff’s deputy jumped into action, performing CPR on the driver until paramedics arrived. The unidentified driver was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
