MILWAUKEE, WI — Fire crews were called to a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on North 76th Street in northwest Milwaukee, according to Milwaukee County Fire & Police News.
The wreck occurred on a span of road (Wisconsin Highway 181) at the intersection with West Brown Deer Road (Wisconsin Highway 100), near the Northridge Lakes area. It was first reported shortly before 12:06 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but three vehicles were involved, and one car came to rest on its side.
Milwaukee County Fire crews had to extricate one patient who was left trapped in a vehicle. At this time, authorities have not confirmed the number of people injured or taken to a hospital.
