MILWAUKEE, WI — A 35-year-old woman died Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Milwaukee’s St. Aemilian’s area, according to TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the fatal incident occurred near North 88th Street and West Capitol Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.
Details are limited, but an early investigation shows a 27-year-old man was driving eastbound on Capitol when his vehicle hit the female pedestrian.
First responders rushed the victim to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
Responding officers arrested the male driver, who faces charges that are being reviewed by the Milwaukee District Attorney’s Office.
