MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle accident early Friday blocked two left lanes on Interstate 43 in downtown Milwaukee’s Westown neighborhood, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash occurred on the northbound lanes of I-43 near U.S. Highway 18, or Wells Street. It was first reported by 511 at 12:41 a.m.
While the circumstances of the collision have not been disclosed, the two left northbound lanes remains closed for over 20 minutes.

By 1:04 a.m., crews had cleared the accident from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
