RACINE COUNTY, WI — Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon that closed part of Interstate 94 near northwest Caledonia, reports WISN.
The accident caused a long traffic backup on the northbound lanes just south of 7 Mile Road, shortly before 12:00 p.m.
Authorities said a snowstorm was occurring when multiple vehicles became became involved in a collision, including a tractor-trailer that jackknifed.
A section of the northbound interstate between County Highway G and 7 Mile Road were blocked off for nearly three hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
One person was initially reported hurt, but WISN later updated that there were up to three reported injuries.
