MILWAUKEE, WI — A 52-year-old man died Sunday morning after a two-vehicle wreck that injured three others in northwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the fatal crash happened on the 9800 block of West Good Hope Road, in the city’s Golden Gate area, at around 7:30 a.m.
An early investigation shows a 21-year-old man was driving eastbound at high speed when his vehicle collided with another car carrying three occupants.
A 52-year-old male occupant in the victim vehicle was killed, confirmed officials. Two other occupants in the same car suffered undisclosed injuries.
The driver of the striking vehicle was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries but was place under custody.
According to the MPD, alcohol is believed to have contributed to the crash. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing criminal charges in the case.
