MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle accident Monday evening blocked three left lanes on Interstate 43 near the Walker’s Point neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes (I-94) at West National Avenue, or Wisconsin Highway 59. It was first reported by TTWN shortly after 6:00 p.m.
Evening commuters were told to expect delays impacting traffic back to Mitchell Street.

By 7:00 p.m., nearly an hour later, the three lanes remained blocked, with a backup stretching farther down to Oklahoma Street.
