FRANKLIN, WI – An 84-year-old man operating a riding lawn mower passed away after he was rear-ended by a minivan on West St. Martins Road Monday.
CBS 58 said this collision happened before 9:30 p.m. south of Puetz Road. Upon arriving, Franklin police declared the man dead at the scene.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as David Woznicki Sr.
Franklin Fire Department, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit also responded to the collision site.
Officials deemed this a multi-vehicle collision but did not specify what other automobiles were involved or reveal the events leading to this crash.
