RACINE, WI – A driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian on 16th Street after 12:45 a.m. Monday, Mount Pleasant Police said.
South Shore Fire Rescue was also summoned to the scene and said the victim had declined to be rescued. Officials did not specify why they refused the recuse or say if the pedestrian was injured or hospitalized.
