UTICA, WI – A 7-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl riding an ATV passed away after colliding with a car in the area of WI-44 and Bonnie View Road Tuesday.

This collision happened at 1 p.m., according to TMJ4. One of the girls passed away at the scene, while the other girl was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the car, a 43-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries. It is unclear if her passenger, a 13-year-old boy, was also hurt, but both tried to conduct CPR on the girls prior to first responders arriving.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation and has not released other information at this time.

Due to the girls’ ages, our team will not be posting their names to this article or anywhere on our news blog.
