ASHWAUBENON, WI – Two young ladies, 18 and 19, lost their lives in a solo collision reported on Wisconsin 172 Monday, WBAY reported.
This crash took place before 6 a.m. when a driver of a 2015 Dodge Charger lost control of the car and crashed into an embankment, colliding with several trees, including one behind a business center near Oneida Street.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office did not identify the occupants by name but by place of residence and age. They said an ambulance took the driver, a 19-year-old Wabeno woman and a 16-year-old girl to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The other two occupants, an 18-year-old Wausau woman and a 19-year-old Green Bay woman, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the women’s names as soon as their families are notified.
Deputies shut down Wisconsin 172 before later reopening all lanes.
