WAUKESHA, WI – A pedestrian’s life was claimed when they were struck by a driver of an unspecified vehicle, who then fled the scene south of Grandview Park Tuesday.

Three Waukesha police cruisers and six Waukesha fire rescue vehicles arrived at the scene — the 709th block of North Grandview Boulevard — at approximately 10:31 p.m. Just moments later, authorities were able to locate the suspect.

Officials did not release the name of the hit-and-run suspect, only revealing he is a man on probation for disorderly conduct who may also face domestic violence charges.

Authorities have not provided additional information at this time, including the pedestrian’s name.

New developments will be posted when more details become publicly available.

If your loved one passed away in a collision that was caused by a negligent driver, especially if that person fled the scene, then that party needs to be held accountable for their poor choices and the hurt they inflicted on you and your family. While a wrongful death lawsuit may not allow you the ability to travel back in time and undo what took place, the money you receive as a result of legal action can terminate those financial strains incurred as a result of this collision and be used as paying for a funeral, burial, or memorial service to honor your family member’s memory. The wrongful death lawyers at Lindner Law LLC are here for you and your family during this dark time. Our team can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for free consultations.
