RACINE COUNTY, WI — One person suffered injuries Wednesday evening when a snowmobile collided with a tree in Union Grove, according to Racine County News/Scanner.
The accident took place in the 20600 block of Spring Street (County Highway C), in an area west of U.S. Highway 45 (South Colony Avenue). Union Grove – Yorkville Fire Department crews and the Racine County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at about 8:09 a.m.
As of this writing, neither agency has disclosed the circumstances of the event, but Flight for Life was requested at the scene for at least one patient. The victim, whose condition remains undisclosed, was expected to be transported to Aurora Mount Pleasant Hospital.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone else was hurt.
