MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A MCSO vehicle struck a home in Shorewood Thursday evening after a pursuit led to a crash involving another MCSO squad car, reports TMJ4.
The events first unfolded at about 7:50 p.m. in the area of North Lake Drive and East Jarvis Street, where a detective spotted a suspect linked to a vehicle-crime investigation.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, the detective attempted to stop the suspect, but the latter fled, prompting a pursuit.
Officials said as the chase was being terminated, one MCSO vehicle struck another. The impact of the initial crash sent one squad into a residence at the intersection, disabling the car.
No injuries were reported following the crash, but no estimated property damage costs have been released.
The suspect remains at large and continues to be sought.
