MILWAUKEE, WI — A 29-year-old man was left in critical condition Thursday afternoon after his motorcycle was hit by a vehicle in the Walker’s Point area of Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The Milwaukee Police Department said officers responded to the scene at South 12th Street and West National Avenue at about 4:30 p.m.
Preliminary details show the man was operating a motorcycle westbound on National Avenue when a driver in an eastbound vehicle made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, causing a crash. The driver then parked the vehicle along South 12th Street before fleeing the scene on foot.
First responders transported the rider to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
