OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — A 52-year-old Seymour man died Wednesday night after a motorcycle accident on County Road E in the Town of Freedom, reports WBAY.
Authorities said the fatal accident occurred at the intersection with Greiner Road. First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 10:20 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the collision, but the Seymour man was riding a motorcycle when it was hit by an SUV driven by a 40-year-old man from the Town of Grand Chute.
The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed pending notification of family.
It remains unclear whether the SUV driver, who suffered minor injuries, is expected to be charged.
The intersection was shut down for up to five hours during the response and investigation.
