MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 34-year-old woman was arrested Monday afternoon for suspected intoxication after causing a multi-vehicle crash in north Franklin, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on a span of South Lovers Lane Road over West Rawson Avenue at about 1:00 p.m.
According to police, the woman was driving northbound when her vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway and crossed the grass median. Moments later, it collided with an oncoming vehicle. Authorities indicated up to three vehicles were ultimately impacted.
It was unclear whether anyone had to be taken to a hospital, but officials said no one sustained life-threatening injuries.
Responding officers took the causing driver into custody for “driving under the influence with a passenger under 16.”
A section of South Lovers Lane Road was shut down during the response and initial investigation.
