MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed a section of southbound Interstate 41 in west Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes approaching West Blue Mound Road, or U.S. Highway 18. It was first reported by 511 9:43 a.m.
Authorities have not shared the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved, but two left lanes were initially blocked.
By 9:49 a.m., all southbound lanes in the area were closed as crews responded to the scene.

At 10:15, about 25 minutes later, the accident was reported cleared with all lanes restored to traffic.
