MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident early Thursday evening closed a left lane on Interstate 894/43 in west Greenfield, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the westbound lanes at South 92nd Street (Milwaukee North/County Highway N). It was first reported by TTWN at 5:15 p.m.
While the cause of the collision remains unknown, the left westbound lane was blocked for at least 30 minutes. At the time of the initial report, traffic had backed up to Mitchell Interchange.

At 5:45 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reported reopened.

Officials have not indicated any serious injuries in the event.
