KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 60-year-old driver received a citation Monday morning after striking a school bus and another vehicle near north Salem, according to TMJ4.
The collision occurred in the area of Wisconsin State Highway 50 (75th Street) and Wisconsin State Highway 83 (Antioch Road), just southwest of Paddock Lake.
Officials with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on WIS-50 when it colliding with the westbound school bus near the intersection. A third undisclosed vehicle was also struck by the pickup.
Of the students on board the bus at the time, four who attend Salem Grade School were transported to a hospital to be evaluated, but no injuries were reported.
The driver of the pickup, 60, was found to have been “driving too fast for conditions” and was cited.
