MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 60-year-old man was sent to a hospital Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle on College Avenue near South Milwaukee, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident took place on a span of the road (County Highway ZZ) at North Chicago Avenue (South Packard Avenue), at about 7:30 p.m.
Authorities have not provided information regarding the circumstances of the event, but the victim suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The striking driver, a 62-year-old man, was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI).
