MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a collision late Thursday afternoon on Interstate 894/41 in West Allis, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The wreck occurred on the southbound lanes after Exit 2A to West National Avenue and was first reported shortly before 4:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were impacted or what caused the crash, but a right lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.
At the time of the initial report, a traffic backup had extended about four exits down to the Zoo Interchange.
